Much of the news (and the world) is still being dominated by COVID-19. Here in the UK, some new ‘restrictions’ (that are meant to last six months) were announced last night.
As someone who’s spent the last 20 years helping my clients to share information (that’s what websites are for!), it’s driven me somewhat mad at just how bad our Government and it’s scientific advisors are at just this.
(This is not me having a go at any the designers who work for the UK Government. Far from it – they do a great job and have been leading the way in many pieces of design language, etc. especially online and in relation to accessibility. But they are limited in what they can do by the lousy information that they have to help share!)
I’d thought of doing a ranty thread on Twitter with my exasperation, but then decided to do something positive instead.
So in about 30 minutes, I made this poster/graphic; with some ‘Hopefully Useful’ information on it. (‘Hopefully Useful’ in that I ‘hope’ it’s useful and that it might actually give a bit of ‘hope’ as well…)
